Waterland es una micronacion estado digital, es decir una nacion que se desarrolla como tal en la web sin necesidad de recurrir a la anexion territorios fisicos.

Como micronacion no tenemos fines de lucro, solo lograr una independencia digital.

No reclamamos territorios ni tenemos intereses economicos.

Fue creada el 19 de septiembre de 2004 y tiene presencia en la web desde 2007
